Dr Priyanthi graduated (MBBS) in 2006 from university of Peradeniya, Sri Lanka, has 14 years of experience as a medical practitioner, both in Sri Lanka & Australia.

Dr Priyanthi enjoys general practice due to the diversity it offers in terms of patients and their health needs. A GP is a patients’ lifelong partner in health care and establishing a foundation based on trust and understanding is key to building that relationship.

Dr Priyanthi believes in offering evidence based current best practice for all of her patients.

She got her MBBS (second class Honours), from Faculty of Medicine, University of Peradeniya, Sri Lanka, 2006 and also MD Anaesthesiology Part 1A, Postgraduate institute of Medicine, University of Colombo, Sri Lanka, 2014. She worked in Rockhampton hospital, Queensland and gained experience in Emergency medicine, Gynecology and obstetrics, Geriatrics and rehabilitation. She completed her AMC in 2017 and also Fellow of Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP).
